With the track prepared it was time for the first event – Off Road Competition.
This competition focused in designing vehicles capable of negotiating rough terrain at high speed. Therefore, all the competing models were designed with high ground clearance and large suspension travel.
In order to keep competition leveled, entries were limited to a maximum of three Power Functions motors, powered by the standard Power Functions AA battery box and minimum wheel diameter of 81.6mm.
Scoring was tracked in regard to the fastest track time and number of interventions.
