Nice to see this! Would it mean than that we can expect a big update very shortly?
Hello BuWizz team, is it ok if you would provide details on the gearbox feature as this would be extremely useful for my 4-speed gearbox, instead of using the normal Control+ hub with batteries and only 9V. Thanks.
The Gearbox control will help users to precisely rotate the motor to the desired angles, which correspond to specific gears.
The control comes with a visual control (that you set up in the Controls layout) and a logic module, which you setup similarly as the Center Steer module.
Currently the Gearbox functionality works with a motor with max 350° of freedom (it has to be physically limited similar to the Center Steer module).
Within the Gearbox module settings, the user can specify the number of gears and with the current implementation, we presume all gears are equally divided in the circle of motion. Similar to the Center Steer module, the user will have to calibrate the Gearbox module to determine the range of motion and calculate individual gearbox positions.
Thanks for this information. Would it be possible to only have one end stop at gear one (for calibration) and than a user defined angle?
Is it possible to control this device using windows 10 pc?
Hello Buwizz Team,
why there was since 1 year no update on the app store? Since the improved bluetooth feature the was no update 🙁
